Please note: these ranges come from our clinic price list and are shared to help you plan a budget. They are information, not a quote or an offer. The exact cost can only be set after an examination, any X-rays or scans needed, and a written treatment plan. Our list is in Turkish lira; amounts in pounds, euros and dollars are approximate, converted at the European Central Bank rate of 23 October 2026, and change with the exchange rate.
Treatments that are not on the list
Some treatments cannot be given a sensible range before we have seen you, so they are not on the list at all. These include full-arch implant bridges such as All-on-4 and All-on-6, dentures, bone grafts, sinus lifts, composite bonding, gum treatment and children's dentistry. Their cost depends so heavily on the individual mouth that any figure printed in advance would mislead more people than it helped.
For these, the cost is set in the written plan after an assessment. A bone graft, for instance, can mean a small amount of material placed at the same time as an implant, or a separate procedure months earlier. A full-arch bridge depends on the number of implants, the bone available and the material of the final teeth. You can read how each one works on its own page: All-on-4, All-on-6, bone grafts, sinus lifts, dentures and gum treatment.
From price list to written plan
- Send photos and X-rays: Send smile photos and any recent X-rays on WhatsApp, with a short note on what bothers you.
- Preliminary plan: A dentist reviews them and replies with a preliminary plan, an estimated cost built from our ranges and the expected number of days.
- Examination in Istanbul: On your first day you are examined, and any X-rays or scans needed are taken.
- Written treatment plan: The dentist confirms or adjusts the plan in writing, tooth by tooth, with the cost of each line, before any treatment starts.
- Treatment and review: Treatment follows the agreed plan. Any change needed during treatment is explained and agreed with you first.
Dentist Istanbul prices: why each line is a range
Each price is a range because the same treatment name can describe quite different amounts of work. A root canal on a single-rooted front tooth is shorter than one on a curved, three-rooted molar. A wisdom tooth that is already through the gum is a different job from one lying sideways in the jaw. The range covers that spread.
The things that most often move a price within its range are:
- Complexity of the tooth. Number of roots, curvature, previous treatment, or how far a tooth is buried.
- Material or system. For implants this is the biggest factor, which is why the list has three implant lines. For crowns, zirconia and E.max are priced separately.
- Laboratory work. Highly characterised front-tooth ceramics take a technician more time than a plain back-tooth crown.
- Number of visits. Treatment that needs extra appointments, temporaries or a second stage sits towards the upper end.
What a range does not tell you is how many treatments you need. That number, more than any single price, decides your total.
What changes the total cost of a treatment plan
Your total is the sum of every line in your plan, so the main driver is the number and type of teeth treated. Two people asking for “new front teeth” may end up with very different plans: one might need whitening and four veneers, the other six crowns, two root canals and a gum treatment first.
Common reasons a plan grows after examination:
- Decay or old fillings found on X-ray that must be treated before cosmetic work.
- A tooth that needs a root canal before it can take a crown. See root canal costs in Turkey.
- Gum inflammation that needs cleaning or treatment first, because crowns and veneers do poorly on unhealthy gums.
- Not enough bone for an implant without a graft or sinus lift.
Common reasons a plan shrinks: your teeth turn out to be healthier than the photos suggested, whitening alone gives the colour you want, or fewer teeth show in your smile than you thought. We would rather tell you that you need less than sell you more.
How a written treatment plan works
A written treatment plan lists every tooth, the treatment for each one, the material, the number of days and the cost of each line, so the total can be checked line by line. It is the only document that sets your cost; this price list does not.
The process has two stages. First, you send photos and any X-rays you have on WhatsApp, and a dentist reviews them and replies with a preliminary plan and the expected number of days. This is based on images only, so it can change. Second, when you arrive in Istanbul you have an examination and any X-rays or scans needed, and the dentist confirms or adjusts the plan in writing before treatment begins. If anything differs from the preliminary plan, the reason should be explained to you and written down.
A good plan also tells you what is optional. Whitening the remaining teeth, for example, may be recommended rather than required. Ask which lines are needed for health and which are for appearance.

Comparing prices with home and with other clinics
Private dental fees in the UK, Ireland and the US are generally higher than in Turkey, which is the main reason people travel. But headline prices are a poor basis for comparison. A low figure per tooth can come with more teeth treated than necessary, and a higher figure can include stages another clinic leaves out.
When you compare, put written plans side by side and check:
- How many teeth are being treated, and why each one.
- Whether each tooth gets a veneer or a full crown.
- For implants, which system is used and whether the abutment, crown and any graft are listed.
- How many days you need to stay, and whether a second trip is planned.
- What happens if a repair is needed after you go home.
Remember to add flights, accommodation and time off work. Our guide to choosing a clinic in Turkey and the comparison in dental work in Turkey vs the UK cover this in more detail.
Planning a budget before you travel
The most reliable way to budget is to start from the preliminary plan we send after seeing your photos and X-rays, then allow some margin for changes after the examination. If you have a recent panoramic X-ray from home, send it; it makes the preliminary plan much closer to the final one.
Practical points worth knowing:
- Our list is in Turkish lira, so the cost in your currency moves with the exchange rate between the plan and the treatment.
- Implant treatment usually needs two trips, separated by roughly 3–6 months of healing, unless immediate loading is suitable for you. Budget for both journeys.
- Crowns and veneers usually need about one week in Istanbul; plan the trip around the number of days in your plan, not the other way round.
- We can help arrange an airport transfer and accommodation, and our team speaks English.
Our clinic is at Kazlıçeşme Mah. Kennedy Cad. No:54/EA, Zeytinburnu. See how to get here.
