Clear aligners Turkey cost: the range on our price list
Clear aligners are listed at TRY 90,000–150,000 for the whole treatment. That is a price for a course of treatment, from the start of tooth movement to the end, rather than a price per tray or per month. Fixed braces are shown alongside for comparison, because many people weigh the two.
| Treatment | Price range (TRY) | Approx. GBP | Approx. EUR | Approx. USD |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Clear aligners (whole treatment) | 90,000–150,000 | £1,350–£2,260 | €1,620–€2,690 | $1,810–$3,020 |
| Braces, fixed (whole treatment) | 65,000–90,000 | £980–£1,350 | €1,170–€1,620 | $1,310–$1,810 |
| Scale and polish (full mouth) | 1,500–2,500 | £25–£40 | €25–€45 | $30–$50 |
| Teeth whitening (per treatment) | 4,000–10,000 | £60–£150 | €70–€180 | $80–$200 |
Please note: these ranges come from our clinic price list and are shared to help you plan a budget. They are information, not a quote or an offer. The exact cost can only be set after an examination, any X-rays or scans needed, and a written treatment plan. Our list is in Turkish lira; amounts in pounds, euros and dollars are approximate, converted at the European Central Bank rate of 23 October 2026, and change with the exchange rate.
The cleaning and whitening rows are there because they are common additions: a clean before the scan, and whitening once the teeth are straight. Neither is part of the aligner price.
Invisalign Turkey price: what people mean when they search for it
“Invisalign” is a brand name, and like some other brand names it has become the word many people use for clear aligners in general. When someone searches for the Invisalign price in Turkey, they are usually asking what clear aligner treatment costs here, how long it takes and how it is supervised.
That is what this page answers. We do not use the brand name to describe our own treatment. After your examination and scan, the dentist explains which aligner system is suitable for your teeth and why. If you have a preference for a particular system, ask us directly before you travel, and we will tell you plainly what we can and cannot offer. The general principles of aligner treatment, including who it suits, are on our clear aligners in Turkey page.
Why aligner prices vary so much from person to person
The gap between TRY 90,000 and TRY 150,000 reflects real differences in the work involved. The main factors are:
- How much movement is needed. Straightening a few crowded front teeth is a much smaller job than correcting the bite across both jaws.
- One arch or both. Some people need trays for the upper teeth only; most need both.
- The number of trays. More complex movement needs more stages, and each stage is a separate tray.
- Refinements. Teeth do not always follow the computer plan exactly, so a second, shorter series is often needed at the end. Ask how this is handled in your plan.
- Retainers. Every orthodontic treatment needs retainers to hold the result. Your plan should say clearly whether they are included.
- The aligner system. Different systems are priced differently.
A preliminary view is possible from photos, but the real figure comes from the scan and the digital plan, because that is where the number of trays and stages is worked out.
Time in Istanbul and follow-up from home
Aligner treatment usually runs for months, not days, so the honest question is not just “how much” but “how many trips”. Some steps need you in the chair: the examination and scan, fitting the first trays and any small tooth-coloured attachments, refinement scans, and fitting retainers at the end.
How much of the follow-up in between can be done without a visit is something we discuss with you when the plan is made. It depends on the complexity of your case and on how the treatment is progressing, so we do not promise remote follow-up in advance. What we can do is tell you, in writing, how many visits we expect and roughly when, so you can judge whether the plan works with your life.
When you compare costs, add your flights and accommodation for each of those visits. If returning to Istanbul two or three times would be difficult, treatment from a dentist near home may suit you better. That is a reasonable decision, and you can still visit us later for something shorter. Our dental tourism guide helps with the practical side of repeated trips.
A worked example: aligners followed by whitening
Many people finish aligner treatment and then want to brighten the colour. As an example only, aligners at the listed range followed by whitening would come to roughly TRY 94,000–160,000, about £1,410–£2,410, €1,690–€2,870 or $1,890–$3,220, before travel costs.
The order matters. Whitening should wait until the attachments have been polished off, so the colour is even across every tooth surface. Straightening first can also change other plans. Teeth that have been brought into line often need thinner veneers, or none at all, which can reduce the cost of any cosmetic work that follows. If you are thinking about both, see veneers in Turkey cost and our blog post on whether veneers in Turkey are worth it.
Clear aligners or fixed braces: the cost difference in context
On our list, fixed braces (TRY 65,000–90,000) sit below clear aligners (TRY 90,000–150,000) for the whole treatment. Price alone should not decide it, though, because the two do not suit the same cases equally well.
- Aligners are removable and nearly invisible, but they only work if worn for most of the day, every day.
- Fixed braces cannot be forgotten in a drawer and are often more predictable for large or complex movements.
- Braces need regular adjustment visits throughout treatment, which is a major consideration if you live abroad.
For someone living outside Turkey, aligners can sometimes involve fewer trips than braces, but that depends on the case and is set in the plan. The braces in Turkey cost page explains the visit schedule for fixed treatment, and our orthodontics overview compares the options.
What to check in an aligner quote
Aligner quotes can look similar on the surface and differ underneath. Before comparing figures, from us or anywhere else, check that each written plan states:
- whether a dentist examined you, with X-rays, before the plan was made;
- which arches are treated and the estimated number of trays;
- whether refinements are included, and if so how many;
- whether retainers are included, and which type;
- how many visits are expected and roughly when;
- what happens if a tray is lost or breaks.
Private orthodontic fees in the UK, Ireland and the US are generally higher than in Turkey, but compare complete written plans, not headline prices. A plan that leaves out refinements or retainers is not directly comparable with one that includes them.
Getting a figure for your own teeth
Send clear photos of your teeth, front and side, with your back teeth together, on WhatsApp, plus any recent X-rays. A dentist reviews them and replies with a preliminary plan and the expected number of days for the first visit. The full cost and visit schedule follow the examination and scan in Istanbul, in writing, and nothing starts until you have seen them. You can also contact us with questions first.
